Senior Program/Product Strategist
For more than 20 years, Laura Ehlert has worked with some of the country’s largest financial institutions to provide a range of consulting services including strategy, positioning, product marketing, client experience, and large project leadership. While working for Putnam Investments and later Franklin Templeton, as head of financial advisor marketing, Laura gained expertise in money management, portfolio construction and product positioning. Laura also worked as a marketing executive for two firms that pioneered wealth management and brokerage businesses in banks across the nation.
As a senior consultant, Laura led major projects for the largest business integration in U.S. financial services history (Wells Fargo/Wachovia), built strategy and vision for how to re-build E-TRADE’s options trading offering, and developed product strategy and positioning for Charles Schwab and Wells Fargo. She has built and executed marketing and lead generation strategies for wealth management and brokerage businesses at Wells Fargo, U. S. Bank and Bank of NY/Mellon among others.
Laura holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication from Ohio University, a graduate certificate in Technical Analysis from Ageno Graduate School of Finance, Golden Gate University, San Francisco, and is a life-long student of investor behavior.
When she’s not working, Laura enjoys international travel and is also an amateur photographer. She shoots black and white file and can often be found at a favorite dark room in San Francisco.
